While on campus, you have access to care for you and your entire family—from family medicine clinics to outpatient clinics in all of our specialties to multiple convenient pharmacy locations.

Off campus, you have even more options:

And all of our providers and pharmacists can consult your UI Health Care electronic medical record for quick access to your history and care plan.

And as a UI employee, you’re entitled to appointment-related parking privileges. Before your appointment, go to your MyChart account and print a Patient Parking Voucher to put on your dashboard. Or during your visit, ask the clinic or nursing unit for a pass to give to the parking cashier as you leave. You’re always welcome to park in the parking ramps during health appointments for you or your family.

A Reputation for Patient-focused Care

UI Health Care’s primary and specialty care teams are routinely recognized for outstanding service to patients, and UI Hospitals & Clinics and UI Stead Family Children's Hospital rank high on national surveys of hospital quality and excellence.

Take your first step toward better health: Choose a primary care provider. We encourage all members of the UI family to choose a primary care provider, or PCP. Why? Because studies have shown that people who choose a PCP enjoy better health, make fewer trips to the hospital, and pay lower medical bills.

A PCP is your main doctor, the one who gets to know you and your family and provides all of your primary medical care, like routine checkups and non-emergency care. Your PCP also helps to coordinate and monitor your care when you need to see a specialist.
