Iowans recognize the value of education, which is why Iowa has one of the highest high school graduation rates in the nation. Iowa City and Cedar Rapids boast several of the highest-ranked public high schools in the state. Private and parochial schools also are available. The area also offers a variety of daycare options.

Child Care Resources

For many parents, career responsibilities and other commitments make reliable child care a necessity. There is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to choosing the right child care solution.

The good news is that a variety of child care options are available in Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and surrounding communities—center-base and in-home care as well as nanny/babysitter services and Montessori programs.
