7Cost of physicals vary depending on insurance coverage or no coverage. According to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality for patients without health insurance an annual physical typically costs $200. Supervised Experiential Learning sites do not currently require drug testing. If a site requires drug testing in the future, the cost would be the responsibility of the student. The price of drug testing varies, but is generally $50 to $80 per test performed at a laboratory according to Cost Helper Health.

Financial Aid and Loan Deferment

The program falls under the regular Graduate College and is part of all Title IV financial aid programs governed by the University of Iowa as a whole. Students are eligible for any applicable financial aid and/or loan deferment. All financial assistance is administered by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
