For the third-straight year, University of Iowa Health Care was ranked the No. 1 “most humanizing” health care brand in the United States, according to a recently published brand report drawing on in-depth research from more than 29,000 consumers.
The Humanizing Brand Experience report by the brand experience company Monigle ranks more than 220 brands across 75 markets with consumers ranking health care brand footprints in their respective markets. The report examines all the ways in which a person experiences a health care brand through an organization’s clinical facilities, providers, research endeavors, and public perception.
UI Health Care, which was also ranked No. 1 in the 2024 and 2025 Monigle report, improved its overall score this year, reinforcing the impact of its researchers, educators, providers, nurses, and care teams that serve Iowans across the state.
“We are proud to receive this honor for a third consecutive year, which reflects the strong relationships we are building with patients and the community as we work to improve access to quality care across the state of Iowa,” says Denise Jamieson, MD, MPH, UI vice president for medical affairs and the Tyrone D. Artz Dean of the Carver College of Medicine. “When I think of what it means to be a ‘humanizing brand,’ I think about how our teams deliver compassionate, patient-centered-centered care every day to improve the health and well-being of the state, its people, and our neighbors.”
