About Our Tours
Tours showcase our missions of research, teaching, and patient care in these public spaces: University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, and UI Carver College of Medicine.
We offer tours to community groups free of charge. Tours may last from 30 minutes to two hours and are typically offered between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Please note: Participants will not interact with patients or enter into patient areas as part of this program, for safety and privacy of our patients. All tour participants will be screened for illness prior to visiting campus. Participants who are showing symptoms of an illness will not be eligible to participate in order for us to provide a healthy environment for our patients and their family members.
