In 2024, Mission Cancer + Blood and UI Health Care joined forces to fight cancer across Iowa. 

Together, we have more than 20 community cancer clinics and offer more than 300 cancer clinical trials across the state. Backed by UI Health Care’s National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, we’re bringing the most advanced care to Iowans, close to home.

Now, through our joint clinical trial program, these innovative treatments and therapies are available to patients across Iowa -without having to travel for treatment.

Our UI Health Care location in Urbandale brings several of the system’s Des Moines-based specialty services together under one roof, providing patients living in central and western Iowa with more convenient access to care, close to home.
