Please complete our Faculty and Staff Volunteer Form if you are interested in getting involved.
College Student Volunteer Opportunities
University of Iowa Health Care STEM Education welcomes trained college student ambassadors to lead interactive tours and experiences during K-12 UI Health Care visits. As part of this volunteer role, UI Health Care STEM Education Ambassadors have the opportunity to lead educational presentations and inspire health care futures among K-12 students. In return, this volunteer role provides college students with an inside look at many areas within the hospital, networking opportunities with faculty, staff, and graduate students in the University of Iowa Health Care and UI Carver College of Medicine, and a rewarding volunteer experience. K-12 school tours average two to four hours each and are held Monday through Friday.
